Shule Direct - A Social Enterprise

Shule Direct is a social enterprise that provides local, relevant, digital study tools for learners. Our aim is to provide the world’s best online learning resources in local languages and to help teachers make their lessons relevant for students.

In partnership with the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), we build online learning tools for teachers to deliver a personalized learning experience to every student. These tools include:

◾A learning platform where teachers can store all their notes and resources in their profile

◾A cloud-based knowledge base that helps teachers identify learning gaps and teach to the curriculum

◾An in-app tutorial to help teachers create and publish their own content and also access Shule Direct on their smartphones, tablets, and computers

◾An online course platform that supports teachers and students around the world to study anytime, anywhere.
